MORE VULNERABLE GROUPS:

If Pregnant or Trying to Conceive:

try to reduce your exposure to EMF as much as possible. 

  • Reduce your time on technology wherever possible.
  • When necessary, increase the distance from the device to your body wherever possible.
  • Text instead of call and keep the device as far away from your body as possible while doing so.
  • Use speaker or corded headset if you must do voice calls.
  • Consider your environment and its EMF exposure levels.
  • Shield yourself and your growing belly whenever possible.
  • Encourage your partner to take precautions as well.

Babies and Toddlers:

  • Try to avoid letting young children play with cell phones and other devices.
  • When necessary, it’s best to use the device on airplane mode.
  • Shield babies/toddlers/children anytime a device is in use.
  • Avoid using the cell phone while nursing, or shield while nursing if you must multi-task.
  • Don’t let toddlers hold phones when Face timing relatives and realize that distance helps reduce RF exposure.

Kids and Teens:

  • Under age of 14, kids should text only. Use speaker or corded headset if they must do voice calls.
  • When necessary, it’s best to use the device on airplane mode.
  • All general tips apply.
